"what’s special about the fan tattoos, is that i collect them. i have a gallery of thousands of them- y’know photos of them. and if ever there’s someone at a record label or someone in the music business or even sometimes when we lack confidence, if ever anyone tries to convince me that we don’t have anything special, or that we don’t deserve success or that we’re not connecting with kids on a real level, i just show them that gallery and look at 5,000 tattoos of our band all over the world. how can you deny that?"
